Palace Inn 529 & Barker Cypress

I was there 2 weeks. Very clean room. The staff was very accommodating, professional and kind. I especially appreciated that they monitored the parking lot, so I felt safe. Thank you!

Had I known this establishment existed when I first started visiting my little girls in Katy/Cypress area, driving from the oilfields about once a month for two/three years now, I would be a very happy and regular guest at the Palace Inn. Supremely clean. New, modern look. Comfortable bed. And other little amenities that I hope for... I hope to stay regularly as I come to visit my girls, and not just for a day or two, but the whole time I'm here. I also want to convey how polite the office folk were to me, explained everything clearly and answered any questions I had. And lastly, there's nothing that the larger chains I've stayed at have offered that the Palace Inn didn't offer, also, as far as comfort and safety. Thanks for a good night's rest! PS: I received my deposit less than an hour after checkout. No problem.

Pros: Clean property, clean rooms! Very secure property. HD TV! Cons: Very sterile rooms, no lamps. No visitors rule a bit over the top. It's like a half way house vibe that's not good. I had rented a room for my best friend who had some unfortunate circumstances at home and needed time alone. She also suffers from seizures so I kept a close eye on her. I understand why there are strict rules because it's an image they want to protect and keep the drugs and hoods away. But understand not all patrons are like this and respect your property. We'll be back, just try to keep an open mind to your guests needs.

First of all... The owner and his wife treating me with respect the breakfast in the morning is not bad at all could be a little bit better. But overall the rooms are very nice always clean never had a problem sleeping. And I also like how you get your deposit back if you pay cash.. that's a double thumbs up

Coming from out of town I always look to stay in this hotel. They have a great customer service staff. Clean rooms and very accommodating place to stay.

Spacious, clean, simple rooms. Stayed by myself and I felt safe. I was sceptical at first due to the location being a bit hidden but it's a pretty quiet spot. If you have the option, choose upstairs... I had heavy luggage so I chose downstairs and I heard everyones footsteps until about midnight when everyone went to bed. There's nothing fancy about the rooms but beds are firm, pillows are hard so bring your own if you can. Bathrooms are very clean and well taken care of. I'm staying here again for sure The clerk who helped me was very kind and helpful.

Very nice! Here in Katy on business trip. Just checked in a couple of hours ago. Easy check in. Staff very kind and helpful. The property is nice and lighted. Our room is amazing! Very spacious, very clean and they add a few personal touches to make it comfortable in case you forgot any hygiene products. I like that! Overall I give 5 stars and will recommend to friends and family to stay here. A big plus after a long drive here. Love it! Thanks Palace Inn
